Privacy Policy

Last updated 8 September 2026

Working draft. This describes what Hubber collects and why, as the platform works today. It will be revised as we grow, and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Questions: info@hubber.com.ng.

1. What we collect

We do not store card numbers. Payments are handled by our payment providers, who receive card details directly.

2. Why we use it

3. Who we share it with

Only what each party needs to do its job:

We do not sell personal data.

4. Where it is stored

Data is held on managed cloud infrastructure and may be processed outside Nigeria by the providers listed above. Access is restricted to those who need it.

5. How long we keep it

Account and transaction records are kept while your account is open and afterwards for as long as needed for tax, accounting, dispute and regulatory purposes. Technical logs are kept for a short operational period. Verification documents are kept while your supplier account is active.

6. Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act you may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to restrict how we use it. Some data must be retained to meet legal obligations or to complete a transaction already in progress. Write to info@hubber.com.ng and we will respond.

7. Security

Passwords are hashed. Traffic is encrypted in transit. Sessions are bound to a device and can be revoked individually; deactivating an account ends its sessions immediately. No system is perfectly secure — tell us at once if you suspect a problem.

8. Children

Hubber is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top changes when we do, and material changes will be announced in the app or portal.
